Embedded SW Engineer – LTE/5G NR
Our client is a well known developer of systems to improve the connectivity, stability performance, and reliability of Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) signals in non-line-of-sight locations where such signals can’t be reliably received on their own. This is an opportunity to join a team of industry experts, stepping into a Sr role.
Summary
The Embedded SW Engineer will be responsible for implementing embedded software that
forms part of our product line. This role will support our next Generation 5G Chipset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Design and document software systems.
• Implement embedded real-time software modules and systems according to an
agreed software architecture.
• Implement module and system-level testing for all software developed.
• Coordinate with test teams to ensure that all software is tested, and all open issues
are addressed.
Skills and Abilities
• Expert in embedded C/C++ programming
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Must be proactive, taking initiative and working in a collaborative team
environment.
• Broad general knowledge of embedded devices and standards such as TCP, IP,
WebSockets and
• Must have strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use sound judgment when representing the Company.

Work Experience
• Must have at least 10+ years' experience in real-time embedded software development on
platforms using Real-time Operating Systems.
• Must have 10+ years’ experience C/C++ embedded programming skills
• 2+ years' experience in the wireless industry preferred/5G NR preferred.
• Must have strong fundamental skills in DSP, Filter Design, FFT/IFFT
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required
